Kemerovo State Medical University is one of the finest places for foreign students
to undertake their MBBS.
It started over 67 years ago in 1956 and has advanced greatly over the years. It is located in Kemerovo region, found in Russia with six faculties.
The medical university is accredited and certified by the medical council of Russia,
the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry
of education in Russia. Kemerovo State Medical University
is the leading state educational establishment in scientific research area.
In 2022 Kemerovo State Medical University was accredited by "IAAR" and by the World Federation of Medical Education.

in the International Medical Projects and work with foreign partner Universities.
The quality of medical education offered in the institution is of a high standard,
and University has already prepared 33,772 doctors and pharmacists .
being a student of Kemerovo State Medical University, a foreigner masters a variety of medical areas that can be chosen for further specialization.
University has treaties with 30 hospitals for practice and there are enough on-campus educational laboratories which are well equipped . The world of medicine is founded on research, so the university has invested heavily in research facilities. All the laboratories are well equipped and have adequate resources that facilitate learning for 4094 students.
Apart from the laboratories, the medical university has an up-to-date IT infrastructure that helps students enhance their studies on their own time.
There is a wide range of medical studies that students who enroll at the university can choose from. We have a faculty of General Medicine that has been in existence since the establishment of the university. The faculty has over 16 departments from which MBBS students from all world. It also has Dentistry, Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine, and Pharmacy faculties. All these faculties have 238 Professors with very high qualifications.
There are three hostels with two- and three-bed rooms accommodation. There are also other social facilities such as a sports complex, a gymnasium, studying hall, among others, in the hostels.

Climate in Siberia
The summer is warm, the average temperature is +22-24°C during the day, +16-18°C at night. In winter, there is a lot of snow in Kemerovo, the average temperature is -10-15°C during the day, and -15-20°C at night. Often in summer it is +30°, and in winter it can be -30°.

Arrival to Siberia
From the airport of Kemerovo the university can be reached by bus, the ticket costs 35 RUB, from the airport of Novosibirsk there is a direct bus to Kemerovo, the ticket costs 1300 RUB.
Average living expenses are:

Urban Environment
Near the campus there are boulevards and parks for walking and sports. Dormitories are located near supermarkets, coffee houses and cafes. Near the hostels there are public transport stops and ATMs.

Kemerovo State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia is the leading scientific and educational medical center of the Kemerovo region, which trains doctors, pharmacists, dentists, pediatricians, and sanitary doctors.
The Educational Program is implemented in English.
Students begin to study fundamental disciplines (anatomy, histology) already in the first and second year.
Teachers of clinical disciplines are practicing physicians with a scientific degree. In total, about 50 clinical disciplines are studied in the educational program.
Every year students undergo internships in hospitals and clinics of the city and receive their first qualification already in the 3rd year. An important role in the study of fundamental and clinical disciplines is played by the Simulation Center, Anatomy Rooms with natural and plastiс materials, the Learning Management System (LMS) of the University. The graduate is fluent in modern medical technologies and diagnostic methods, knows the methods of examining patients
